Initial Consultation

This is where we explain the specific framework of how an investment in the fine wine market would work and you share your requirements with us, along with what finances you have available to make your initial investment.

Selection

Using the parameters set by you during the initial consultation, our team of experts will make a wine selection that fits within your criteria. The reasons for selection will then be shared with you so that you can fully understand the how’s, the what’s and the why’s – as well as ensuring that you are happy and comfortable before proceeding.

Funding

Once you are happy to proceed you will be sent an invoice for the wine purchase with whatever payment terms agreed with your consultant – Although generally speaking most accounts are funded within 2-3 days.

Bonded account set up & transfer of wine

Once the funds have been received, there are two things that happen.

If you already have an account set up with a bonded warehouse, we will simply request the transfer of your wine to that account providing that you give us your account reference and let us know where it needs to go.

If we are assisting with the setup of your account, we will take the required information from you to then pass your details onto our recommended storage provider so that an account can be set up in your name. Once set up, we will the action the transfer of the wine into your ownership.

Continuous Support

You will then be given access to the Vinverum Client Portal where you’ll be able to see details on your investment, along with up to date market news.

Your dedicated account manager will also be in contact as often or as little as you require to inform you of important goings on in the wine investment world.
